About Charlie

Hi, I’m CharlieArnerstål.

I build software and explore technical ideas, and Armsteel is the personal portfolio where I share that work.

A personal identity

A place to collect the things I make.

Armsteel is my personal home for software, electronics, and technical projects. It isn’t a company; it gives very different pieces of work one place to live, from complete platforms to small experiments.

What I work on

Different kinds of technical work, driven by curiosity.

01

Software and the web

Building sites, tools, and services that make an idea useful to someone else.

02

Systems and infrastructure

Understanding how the pieces connect, from the application down to the services it relies on.

03

Electronics and hardware

Making room for physical builds, circuits, and the occasional experiment beyond the screen.

04

Programming experiments

Trying out an idea to see what it can teach me, even when it stays small.

My approach

I learn by making things concrete.

I like taking an idea far enough to see where it works and where it needs another pass. Some projects become useful tools; others are experiments that help me understand a problem better. This site keeps both in view.

Across these projects

Tools change with the work.

These are technologies used in the projects collected here, rather than a claim to one fixed stack.
